Today I want talk about Oh Lala. This is my cat her official name is Raven Jane but my youngest sister started to call her oh lala, La for short and it just stuck. So Oh lala, She is. Me and Sarah went and adopted her about 11 yrs ago. Sarah just had to have her. Well...as is the way with cats they do what they want, so she ended up taking to me better and slowly she became mine.
I cant imagine my life without her. She spends her days hanging out at my desk while I work( I work from home ) amd her evening laying around on the dining room table just being apart of our evening routine.
Several years ago I was dating a man who met her for the first time and was instantly afraid of her. He truely believed that black cats are bad luck. I was stunned. The thought had never crossed my mind that anyone would still believe that. Over the past couple of years I have seen on the internet that there are adopt a black cat events and Irealized that other people still have the idea that black cats cant be trusted.
I just wanted to say that this couldnt be farther from truth and I hope you will consider giving a black cat a home the next time you adopt.
